I’ve been wishing to write new posts here for so long! I remember how dedicated I was in writing “Weekly Reports” publicly that I even started a web-site for that (RU). Now this blog got 12 posts since 2023 and there was even time when I hided half of them into drafts because I didn’t want to look like the next Durov posting productivity guru memes.
English isn’t my native language (you probably noticed from the first words!) but now it’s my main language of communication. I speak English at home. The same English with missing articles and a heavy accent. I’m not shy because my partner is non-native too but when I go out and have to talk to natives, I become more cautious about my English. The same happens with writing. When I write an email or into this blog, I open tabs of dictionaries and double-check what I dumped into the editor. This slows down writing and makes it unbearable.
It’s time to lower the expectations. I’ll try writing here like it’s a messaging app with a friend. If there’s a mistake, sorry for that. You can report with an email and I’ll correct it. Main goal is to temporarily boost me into writing more here.
